Minnesota Lemon Law

We may be able to assist you even if your situation does not fall squarely within the below parameters.  Please give us a call to discuss your potential case.

Minnesota’s lemon law applies to new or used vehicles so long as the vehicle is three years old or newer.  A consumer must show that her/his vehicle was repaired an unreasonable number of times.  The repairs must be covered by a warranty.  In order to obtain a refund of the purchase price, a consumer must show that the problems with the vehicle were substantial in nature.  You may also have lemon law rights if you have presented your vehicle for repair under warranty, even just one time, and the dealer/manufacturer refuses to fix it.

  • Vehicle 3 years old or newer

  • Repeat repairs performed under vehicle warranty
